Adding Data Sources

This section shows you how to add a new data source to be used by Work-Relay flows.

1. Create a new data object

The fields you add should answer two questions: 1) what does the person doing this step need to know? 2) what information will the person doing this step need to provide in order to move the flow forward?

3. Update Work-Relay Settings

Select the data object you want to be visible in Work-Relay.

4. Open the Flow Tracker object

5. Select the Page Layout

6. Create a new section on the page

7. Set the Section properties

8. Select the Visualforce Pages option and drag the Flow Tracker Workflow page to the Workflow section

9. See the new section

This will show the flow status and available actions in the standard record page layout.
