Advanced settings allows you to choose an object and insert fields from that object inside the body of the email, like a mail merge.

Using merge fields

Using merge fields
  1. Select the object you want to get data out of.
  2. Select the field you want from the object selected.
  3. At the appropriate place in the text, click Insert. The system will add the object field name in the text.
  4. An example of a field that has been inserted in the text.
  5. You can use as many fields as you want. Just keep changing the Context Object and Context Object Field picklists.
  6. When the email is sent, the field names are replaced by the contents of those fields for the record being processed.
