Resource Pools are managed in the "Resources" page (1) at the "Pools" subtab (2). There pools can be created (3), edited (4) and deleted (5). To see the resource pool details, click on it's name (6). The basic properties (name, description, number of resources and dates of creation and last changes) are shown in the resource pools list (7). Use "Filter" field (8) to search for a necessary pool quickly:

To create new Resource Pool:

• click "New" button (3) to show "New Pool" creation form popup (9)
• populate Name (10), description (11) and select Manager from the list of available Resources (12)
• click "Save" button (13) to close popup and go to newly created Resource Pool details page

To edit Resource Pool:

• select "Edit" menu item (4) to see the same popup with Resource Pool properties as for creation
• change necessary properties and click "Save"

To delete Resource Pool:

• select "Delete" menu item (5) to see the confirmation popup (14)
• click "Delete" button there

This page contains two tabs: "Details" (15) and "related" (16).

"Details" tab shows basic information about Resource Pool. Some fields are links to proper records. Also, fields are editable and you can click pencil icon (17) to switch details to edit mode (21). Make necessary changes and click "Save" button (22) to save them. Buttons "Edit" (19) and "Delete" (20) allow to edit and delete Resource.

Also, "Details tab has a bunch of collapsible sections (18) that show different charts for the current Resource Pool.

"Related" tab shows Resources which belongs to the current Pool (23). Click "New" button (24) to create new Resource-Pool Junction (to add a new Resource to Pool). Click "Edit" menu item (25) to edit a junction. Click "Delete" menu item (26) to delete the proper Resource-Pool Junction (to remove the Resource from the Pool). Click user or creator name (27) to go to proper person account information page. Click Resource name (28) to go to proper resource details page.

To add Resources to the Pool click "New" button (24) on the "Related" subtab. You will be redirected to an "Available Resources" page (29). It contains standard Salesforce list with Resources. Check "Add" checkboxes on necessary resources (30) and click "Add to Pool" button (31). You will be redirected back to Resource Details page:

The newly created Resource-Pool Junction (Resource added to Pool) will have default Order. Order determines priority of resources system will take from the Pool to assign. Resources with lowest Order will be taker earlier. If several Resources have the same Order, system will automatically select one of them.

By default Order is 5. To change it click "Edit" button (25) at the necessary Resource, change Order in the proper field (32) shown in the popup (33) appeared, and click "Save" button (34).
