The main idea of Resource Management is that system has a number of Resources (persons or items) that are available to be assigned to any steps based on process needs and required skills/properties. Once resources are configured, admin can assign them without knowing about which person current resource means. If configure Resource Pools, admin even do not need to assign people to steps manually - system will select available resources automatically.

The Resource Management operates with the following terms:

• Resource - a person or item. Basically Resource corresponds to some User.
• Attribute - some skill or property of the Resource. This is like a field of Object.
• Pool - a set of resources. This is like a Group, and system will take some resources from it based on their business calendar.

Resources are managed in the "Resources" application tab (1). It contains 3 subtabs with lists of proper things (2).
