Working With Actions

How to create Action

  • Go to Actions tab, switch to "Actions" subtab (1) and press "New Action" button (2).
  • "New Action" page will be shown (3). Provide Action name (4), select Type ="Action" (5), select Context Object (6), and set Status to "Active" (7).
  • Choose Action type (8) on the Action Configuration section, configure the action based on its type.
  • If action executes with conditions (9) configure the conditions based on its type (10).
  • Finally "Save" an action (11).

 

Working with existing Action

After the action is created you can clone it or execute.

Expand or collapse content Clone

Allows to clone the created Action.

  • Open action
  • Click "Clone" button (12).
  • Enter New Name and click "Apply" button.
Expand or collapse content Execute

Allows to execute action. 

  • Click Execute button (14).
  • Add Source - Id of the record for which action should be executed. 
  • If you don't have Source specified in Action you can pass required record in Variables. 
  • Add Variables if needed.
  • Click Apply button.

Actions Page Toolbar

The toolbar at the top of "Actions" page allows to do the following:

  • Switch between Actions and Action Groups (16)
  • Make search (17) or deep search (18) through Action
  • Export selected Action (19) to file
  • Import selected Action (20) from file
  • Deploy selected Action (21) to another organization
  • Move selected Action and folders (22) to another folder
  • Create new Action (23, see above)
  • Click arrow menu (24) to see "New Folder" button that allows to create a new folder.
