Work-Relay is built using Salesforce technology. There is therefore no need for integration with Salesforce - the integration is built-in. Its components are designed to address the needs of key personas involved in the design, build, and execution of workflow applications.

When you set up a process, you need to select a data source. This is any Salesforce object.

You can then set how to start the process. This can be e.g. when a record is added to the data object, or a field is updated. You can also trigger the process manually, by a scheduled event, or by another process.

When a process is started, the first thing that happens is that users responsible for the first step will be notified via their Chatter feed that they need to take action. Once they "proceed" the step, the next user gets notified, etc. 

Once you are in the process, you can use data in the Data Source object to determine which path the process should take, and/or to store information captured during the flow.

You can also use information from other data objects to set conditions, and use data collected in the process to update other data objects.
