Process Details - Active Steps by Risk of Being Late Chart (for release 7.0)
This chart shows all active steps for Process Instances in progress, grouped by their risk of being late.
- Risk is defined as the possibility of a step being completed after its due date.
- The closer the step is to its due date, the higher the Risk of the step being late.
- By default, the calculated Risk for a step includes the buffer projected upon the active step based on the pace of its predecessors. This can be switched off by using “Include Buffer” toggle (1).
Note: The number of active steps may be higher than the number of process instances, as an instance may have multiple active steps running in parallel.
Click the "Hint" button (2) to display some brief information about this chart.
Click the "Expand" button (3) to expand the chart to full browser window size. This can be useful when the chart contains lot of data or when presenting information. In the expanded state, the "Collapse" button will be displayed instead:
Hovering your cursor over a segment of the donut chart will display the total value of that segment (4):
Clicking an individual segment will navigate the user to the Instances tab for the current process version, where entries shown will be filtered based on the segment selected.
- When "Include Buffer" is turned off, if a user clicks on segment of the chart, the entries shown will be filtered by the following criteria:
Active = true
AND
Active Step Risk = %Risk corresponding to clicked sector%
AND
Active Step Start Date < %last day 11:59 PM of selected period%
- When "Include Buffer" is turned on, if a user clicks on a segment of the chart, the entries shown will be filtered by the following criteria:
Active = true
AND
Active Step Risk with buffer = %Risk corresponding to clicked sector%
AND
Active Step Start Date < %last day 11:59 PM of selected period%
If the process version contains subprocesses, the segment displays extended information (5), such as the number of steps per each process (parent and subprocesses). Each process name is a link (6) that opens the appropriately-filtered Instances tab for the selected Process in a new browser tab.
If the Process has no started instances, or no instances match the selected period, this chart will display a "There is no data" message.
